12/14/06: Congratulations to Christian Lake and
Joshua Snoddy for making the ODP Program for 2007. Christain
made the 93 team and Josh made the 94 team. Also former CDS
Player Tyler Nowin made the 93 team. Both Hannah Snoddy and
Francesco Poggio (11 years of age) made the ODP Program for 2007.
These girls skills prove they are good - because ODP starts at age
12. Go girls!!
8/1/06: Venom U14 Division I took 2nd place at the Arsenal Rome
Georgia tournament on 7/29/06. Congratulations!
7/27/06: Venom U14 Division I won Gold in the Alabama

12/14/04: Tim Menees
was selected as one of the top 18 players in Alabama born in 1991
by the ODP selection committee. He will travel to represent our
state against the finest players in the Southeastern US in a few
weeks in ODP regionals in North Carolina.
Amun Jarzembski
was also selected as one of the top 35 players in Alabama born in
1992. Alabama ODP will field two 1992 teams and it is unclear whether
they will do an "A" team and a "B" team or split the talent equally
between the two teams. If they do split the 2 based on ability,
I will all but guarantee that Amun will make the "A" team (which
would also place him as one of the state's best 18 players.)
Tim and Amun
join 4 other former CDS players who have made ODP (Dennis Mynatt,
Andres Colocho, Ty Fikes, and Tyler Nowin). The other 4 were all
CDS players for at least 2 years.
